Dial swap for discontinued Rolex

Is Dial swap for recently discontinued Rolex possible? Say, the black 34 mm OP (ref 114200) for a white dial change?

Dial swap for discontinued Rolex

I’d call a Rolex RSC and ask. They are very helpful.

My guess is they will say no. Good luck.

I called my AD and he scoffed saying that's a pipe dream. Once discontinued there's no chance. Maybe I got trolled?

So when you see older models with new dials what happens? Its a service dial (new one) from Rolex that gets installed.

That is why for vintage or semi vintage models owners ALWAYS explicity ask for Rolex to NOT change dials to a new one.

Unless you were asking for some strange unicorn dial that was made in limited numbers. Call Rolex directly not an AD. Most AD staff are clueless.
