So, I worked for a company for 35 years. At my retirement dinner five years ago, they gave me a nice gold watch. An Invicta POS. I made a vow then that I would get the watch of my dreams. I knew what I wanted, a yellow gold Daytona.

Since then, I have traveled the world looking for my watch (and enjoying some nice places along the way). I have looked in ADs in New York, London, Vienna, Singapore, Madrid, and Barcelona to name a few. Every time, they would shrug their shoulders and say the Daytona is impossible to get.

I finally found it. While in Las Vegas about a month ago, I went into the Tourneau at Cesar’s Palace and inquired. They took my name and said they would inquire around. To my surprise, Sarah called me back and said that they could order it with a delivery of eight to twelve weeks. I said yes. Three weeks later, last Tuesday, she called and I picked it up Monday. I must be lucky.

After 35 years you are definitely worthy of more than an Invicta.

Stunning choice! +1 for more pictures please.

That dial is beautiful! I wonder how many people are actually gifted a gold rolex when they retire these days... Sorry about the invicta
