Wait time for Explorer I?

Anyone know approx. how long of a wait is an Explorer I?

I really want a green sub but It's probably not going to happen for a long while. 214270 Explorer is on my list anyway and I figured I add it to my collection sooner rather than later.

A friend of mine has been waiting several months now in the Chicago area. No indication on when he might be able to get it.

If you haven't done so, this is the best advice as waiting lists differ by region, traffic, and relationship. I would recommend going to a couple of ADs, striking up some quality conversation, and then asking how it looks to be allocated an Explorer, as you really have your heart set on one. You never know what may happen.

If you look around a bit, they can still be had via grays for not much more than MSRP, especially if you factor in foregone sales tax.

I did. Response was it’s easier than a sub but couldn’t give a timeline when I asked, hence why I’m asking to get a sense of wait times.

Shouldn’t be long. I waited about one month to get mine in January

One month to the day for me. They only took my expression of interest though because I bought a speedmaster about 9months prior. Otherwise I got the impression they wouldn’t have. Weird game

I've waited 6 months from my AD (where I purchased my Sub) and it didn't arrive. So I went gray.

Depends where you are, if you’re in Japan probably much harder because Explorer is so popular there!

Inquired on a Saturday picked it up on Tuesday. So for me, a few Days and this is an AD that I only bought a Tudor gmt from. Nothing else.
