Question for owners of the new Submariner 41 and prior reference
Good Morning all,
As an owner of an 116610LV and 116610LN I am accustomed to taking off 2 LINKs from the 12'oclock side. I fortunately just acquired the new refererence 124060 from my AD and noticed that it is short 1 link compared to the prior model. (on the 12'oclock side) Anyone else noticed this? I know the bracelet is a new design etc, just weird now they short us 1 link. |

Are the links on the new one the same length as the previous?

That sounds like something that's been happening in the last few years on all models. How many total links came with it? My 114060 came with 13

My new DJ also had one less think than the older models as well. When getting my new 126610 sized only one link had to be removed whereas on my older 114060 I'm pretty sure I had to remove two.

Would have to check on it later, but I am used to the 13 on all prior sub references.

I also checked the Hodinkee site and from their angles I look to have the correct number of stock links. Which is 1 link shorter than prior references! |

Sounds pretty chinsey but I guess it's par for the course. So if you have a big wrist you have to buy a link or use the glidelock.

Doesn’t Rolex provide 1 free extra SS link upon request?

My 116610LV came with 11.5 links and it appears from the pictures above that the new reference has the same # of links - 11.5.
Unless the AD took a link when sizing...

Been around ALOT of the previous subs and always 2 links off for me. Even on the Rolesor BLUESY which I beleive lacks a half link compared to it's SS brothers. |

Very Smart Question.
Some AD keep one or two links en every watch. So you have to ALWAYS ALWAYS count them in each watch you buy. It’s my Golden Rule. Happened to my brother in law once and learn the Lesson. Blessings Mike Ps: Congratulations Great Watch!!!! |

Looking at 97200 bracelets for sale, it appears they have 11.5 on brand new bracelets as well. But some have 12.5... Hmmm....

You’ll be fine, with room to grow. My wrist is somehow similar to yours and I wear the glidelock at minimum length and the watch fits snug. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
