First Rolex Watch: Need Advice

Hello all:

I was considering purchasing a Rolex Datejust 18K Gold & Steel Black Jubilee 36mm 16233 with the Box & Papers off of Chrono24 for $6,350 from a reputable seller.

I'd like to post a link to the page for the pictures, but I couldn't find in the FAQ if that is allowed or not. I instead saved a photo and attached it.

I have a 16.75cm wrist and tried on a Datejust 36 and 41 at a Rolex store and prefer the 36mm. Although I read that the modern Datejusts wear a bit bigger than older ones.

I'm pretty set on the black dial on this one. Is $6,350 a reasonable amount for this watch?

I see some cheaper ones without the box and papers go for several hundred dollar less. Is having the original box and papers that pertinent for resale value?

I'd like to keep this one throughout the rest of grad school and my career, so I guess the box and the papers wouldn't be that important to me, but I can't help but feel like it wouldn't be complete without them.

Thank you all for your help.
