RSC Service Estimate
How long are we talking about for the service estimate @ RSC? You walk in hand the watch, and within minutes you get it back with an invoice? or Leave it for a few days?

I don't believe it's that quick. My watchmaker had my watch 3 weeks before I got the estimate. Another local watchmaker was also 3 weeks behind.

You get a very quick estimate at Rolex HQ on 5th Avenue in Manhattan. I guess it would depend on how busy they are, but it can be less than a half hour while you wait. It was for me, anyway.

The last one I had servied was at an AD, Called with est. the next day, had it for about 3 weeks. Came back looking new and that was a GMT 1675.

Three and a half weeks to get the estimate through my AD from Rolex of service of my 5513 sub. That was over a month ago. I'm still waiting patiently.

The RSC could tell you a general service estimate but I would be surprised if he gave you a written service estimate right away since he won't know exactly what needs to be done or parts to be replaced until he opens the watch and starts working on it.

My AD sent my watch to the RSC and it took only a day once rolex received it to get me an estimate. All in total I'll be without my watch for about 5 weeks (that includes shipping both ways and service).

My local watchmaker does Rolex quality work for less and it takes about two weeks....If you can find someone local, it's worth it for many reasons.
