Icon5 How many variations on 1950s-1960s Explorer 1016 crystal?

Does anyone know how many variations the crystals have gone through on the model 1016 Explorer? Pictures would also help me out a lot.

In particular, what should a period-appropriate crystal on a piece made between 1960 and 1962 look like? This is the one w/ just the word "SWISS" under the 6 o'clock position.

Thanks!

Hi Dell,

Hope you are dong well.
The only tropic which you need is a #22.
That has been produced as the most in 2 variations.
1st the original Vintage one and later one the "thinner" service or replacement ones.
Will post a list of tropics/cyclops which might me helpful for the others as well

Take care
Axel
