Montblanc M Magnetism

Does anyone know if it's safe to leave your Montblanc M near your watches for an extended period of time?

I am thinking of getting one but I fear the magnetic cap might result in damaging my watches if I were to...accidentally leave them together overnight while sleeping. Or am I just overly paranoid?

Small magnets cannot damage watches.

I wouldn't.
Had too many watches affected by Laptops, Smart Phones, magnetic closures on wallets, etc

My M stays in a carrying case or the collection case and my watches in a winder or on my wrist. The two never get close to each other. Like Larry said, I don't think the light magnetic force from the pen can do any damage. Also a demagnetizer costs about $10 if you are really concerned.

The magnet on the pen will be very small so I doubt it will cause any harm. Objects such as speakers and microwaves are really the only household objects that would cause potential damage.

As far as i can tell the M magnets are substantially more powerful than my laptops. For this reason yes i can imagine they can cause issues if you're not careful.

They do post a warning on their website and I could swear there was a warning included in the literature when I got mine about pacemakers?
