Daytona 116500 pricing

Dear all
What do you think about current grey market pricing on white dial Daytona 27-28000 USD
Will prices pull back in inextricably 12 months or go further up ??

I m tired of waiting .... can afford it at grey but don’t want up have a buyers remorse of paying such a high premium on steel watch

What do u guys think

I think this is a very tough question tbh. The Daytona has always been THE ROLEX in the collection in my opinion so it will probably hold its value over MSRP... but 27k? I think the WG Daytona OF has better value than the 116500LN. Because of that I don’t see it going up anymore. Probably will remain stable +/-23-25k?

I think if this is then only watch that you want and you’ve spent zero dollars so far at an AD then just pay the premium, get the best example you can, and then stop buying watches. If you already spent a lot at the AD then the decision is harder.

Daytona 116500 pricing

Should be the last watch to buy from grey. They look good and I’d gladly buy at retail but the full gold Daytona’s aren’t much higher and they are so much prettier. SS Daytona overhyped.

The time to buy was 6 months ago at<$20k. I saw black dials as low as $17k.

Not sure I see the value in paying today's prices for a white when you already have the black dial, but then it ain't my money.

Personally I don’t think they are going down much at all. Didn’t buy at 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, but then at 26. Now 27-28. People want them and supply vs demand is keeping them up there. Just buy and don’t look back. I ended up with one and love it.

Honestly. At retail it's a great watch and I was fortunate to get one with a very short wait back in 2017. At inflated market price there are many others watches that would get my money.

Go for it, OP. The thing is beautiful, and I do not see it going down more than 10 percent. If your t paying the market, you'll be fine... Good luck

I really don’t see white steel Daytona dropping.
It’s a highly desired model.

I think many would have buyers remorse at some point after spending $28,000 at a grey. May not be immediate but there is going to be a point that you realize you paid 215% the watches retail price. What do you think will happen when the next hot SS Daytona is released and everyone wants that one?

Have you tried it on in person? That is the litmus test. I am not trying to bash anyone’s decisions but once you put it on your wrist, I believe you will know if it’s worth $28,000.

I was in the identical position you are in. I would go for a precious metal Daytona if you’re spending that much. Just my 2 cents

Great watch for sure, would be the last to go in my collection, but well over double RRP? Mine was £8,050 in 2016 if I recall correctly. Some one are going for £24,000 on chrono - crazy pricing!
