It depends on where the micro-adj setting is currently positioned. With the easy-link closed, and the micro on the tightest position (or the middle position), then extending it one more position will make the overall bracelet a little looser, but not as much as opening the easy-link (because the micro-pins are closer together than the amount of length provided by the easy-link. Hope this makes sense.
