The sunburst dial is special. That being said the Cermit is more versatile. And for me personally the new case is way more aesthetically pleasing than the previous generation.

If you don't like or think the Hulk is too much green go for the new Kermit. It's your wrist and you'll be the one looking at it, not everyone else.

Early 2020 Hulk vrs Sept 2020 Kermit

I have a Hulk, and have recently worked with a director that wore a Hulk. It rarely ever popped out at super green. Seeing it on someone else was eye opening as to how under the radar it can fly. Most of the time it looked very grey or black. Every now and again I could get a glimpse of the green bezel. I bet it pops green more to the wearer than to the people around.

You’re right. The Cermit seems to be regular Sub-C with a green bezel. That’s my opinion. I guess in the right light it can be pretty cool. But you’ll never get the dial to pop out like the Hulk. Take this for instance.

Kermit > Hulk. As much as I like sunburst dials, it just doesn’t work on the hulk with the green bezel. It was unloved for years until rumours of discontinuation triggered FOMO hype. Same goes for the Smurf. Ceilings will be a mess from exploding heads when they eventually discontinue the ceramic white Daytona.
