Day-date 40 question.

Does anyone know the best screwdriver to size a day-date 40 bracelet? I have the 2100 tool for the oyster bracelet but I am not sure what driver is best for a day-date (I think the screws are smaller)? Possible incoming next week and no AD close by to help with the sizing :). Happy to do it myself just need to know the size of the DD40 screws.

Don't have an answer to your question but don't forget to heat up the link to loosen lock tight before unscrewing, I have learnt this hard way and damaged some screws recently.

I'll certainly take that into consideration but if I can find the correct size screwdriver heating may not be needed. In the past I have only had to heat a Rolex screw if using the wrong driver or someone was too enthusiastic with thread locker. I have never had to heat a Rolex new from factory.

jubilee is 1.3mm. Day-date 40 is the same perhaps? Surprisingly I can't find a 1.3mm screwdriver. Most kits online go 1.2, 1.4, 1.6. geez. Rolex has to make everything hard!

Esslinger is your friend for 1.3mm. You can either go Bergeon or Horofix. I just ordered one last week.

I use 1.3mm Horofix. Fits perfectly. Don't lose the little ceramic tube inside each link.

DD36. Not sure if the screws are different sizes, though.
