I am going to revive this thread as it has been a week and nobody responded to my initial post above. I decided to take Oxfodian's advice below (even though it was in response to the nickname Starbucks).

So my childish nickname from my childhood for my TT 16753 with black/gold bezel and black/gold nipple dial will be The Beverly Hillbilly. But as stated in my initial post I will not be so childish as to refer to the dial as an Elly May. So everyone please feel free to use my childish nickname "Beverly Hillbilly" for a TT black/gold bezeled GMT Master. I won't copyright it :-).
