Date just 36
I wanna get a daily wearer, that would go the most with a suite... I have already a DJ 41 blue on jubilee smooth.. but i feel like its a very sharp and eye catching watching .. and also quite large and almost sporty .. to be a dress watch.
so what is your opinion if i get the date just 36 on oyster with fluited bezel should i go for the white dial roman or silver with sticks ? thank PS: I LOVE BOTH |

silver stick if you want "dressy". romans aren't dressy, but imo having 2 datejusts both in steel will make you bored over time

Maybe think about consolidating to SS oyster domed with silver sticks and get something a little different for a dress watch. Love DJs but not really as a dress watch even though I do wear mine with a suit pretty frequently (especially if I’m not wearing a suit all day, like if I have court hearing in the morning but will take off jacket and tie for rest of day).

I chose the white with Romans, more contrast between the dial and hands and easier to read.

What about white dial with sticks? This is a 36mm WG 116139 but the dial is available on regular SS DJ’s as well

You already got a beautiful dress watch, why would you want to get the same type of watch again, better save your money for something else.
Size is personal preference and depends on your wrist size. Actual size of Datejust 41mm is less than 40mm (I think), it's perfectly fine for dress watch.

I prefer the Silver with sticks personally, but ultimately it’s your choice albeit a difficult one.

I love Roman numerals on a DJ. So I’d consider any model with them on the dial.

FWIW: As you advance in age, the white sticks dial will be much easier to read vs silver or champagne.

I'd go Datejust White Stick with fluted bezel on Jubilee.
