Would the wrong printing on the swing tag bother you guys?
Unfortunately I had my beloved 2015 tudor black bay blue eta stolen from the gym 2 weeks ago.was totally gutted and immediately was searching for a new old stock blue eta on the bracelet just like mine that was stolen
So I found one really fast its dated 2017 on the card acually pure fluke, pulled the trigger it mabe was fate because I never see nos eta blackbay on bracelet anymore So I got the watch now and the warranty card has the serial like it should and has the code for the bracelet 95740 as it should showing it's the bracelet version But the swing tag is a mystery because it has the watches serial number correct but under that it says calf bleu when it should say 95740 as it's on the bracelet not the leather strap. Would this swing tag mistake bother you guys?I've acually removed the part of the sticker that say calf bleu now anyway .as I dont wear the swing tag I guess lol And lastly the only other issue I've had with this new peice is the bracelet had an engraving flaw on the back the date code was a bit messed up like the machine made a bit of a mistake like it went over it twice.so it's not really eligible xompared to the engraving on the other parts of the bracelet,I took it to rsc to get it regulated nicely and checked all was legit ,and got another bracelet as it was not expensive that engraving flaw I couldn't live with lol.my OCD sucks but the date code on the new bracelet and clasp are not the same as the original one that was on the watch i thought they would exchange like for like code included. The original bracelet was sh code and that's from I think2016/ 2017 as I see lots of used 2026 pieces for sale with that code, but the new bracelet code is cp and I think that's really new maybe 2018 as I've never seen a eta blackbay with this date code, but ive seen the new blackbay 41 with the smooth shiny bezel using this code,ps its now a discontinued watch now.but I think the bb41 uses the same bracelet as the eta bb 72220 so maybe they are selling us these new bb41 bracelets when we want to buy a 95740 bracelet. Would this also be an issue for you guys. |

If the watch is genuine would not bother me at all; enjoy your new BB and don’t leave it on the gym locker! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Everything checks out except for some silly, plastic tag? Obviously, if you posted it's a concern of yours but forget it man, just enjoy your Tudor.
And to answer your question: I wouldn't care even it was a solid Platinum Daydate. Sent from my SM-A520W using Tapatalk |

Thanks guys I really love the ETA blackbay blue and I had been wearing it daily for nearly 6years before it was taken I'm. 2 watch guy bb and subc .and I knew I couldn't live with buying a used one to replace it.so when this 2017 new old stock one showed up I had to jump on it because if I didnt buy it I have no idea if I would have found a new old stock blue one on the bracelet anytime soon in the uk or the EU
And as for the replacement bracelet I know it would have really bothered me not replacing it for a new one without the engraving error ,I could have returned the watch but deep down wanted it , The original bracelet code on the watch was sh with numbers and the new replacement bracelet I got from rsc is cp and numbers and that cp code is really new,so it's too new for the year of the watch as the watch is discontinued now.maybe I'm just too ocd but just wanted feedback mainly on the bracelet date code more than the hang tag as I dont wear the tag lol |

Personally i would put the hang tag in the bin and not worry about the bracelet (I got lost along the way there so not sure what the issue is/was)
Sucks your old one was stolen, just enjoy the new one for what it is. |

Well it sounds like you can’t live without the watch so it’s likely a keeper therefore does all the other stuff matter like tags and codes etc?

Sorry to hear yours was stolen. Thats a real punk someone pulled. I also have a BB41b eta bought new in '19 and its a keeper for sure. I had an inhouse at first but the riveted bracelet as on the new ones and 58s are the real turn off for me. Glad you got it sorted out. I definitely like a full set on new or used however the swing tag error wouldn't bother me one bit. Enjoy!!...again.

Your correct I couldnt live without it thats why I had to find another one asap and didnt really have the money to be buying another, I grew really fond of it due to wearing it daily for 6 years pretty much and enjoyed every scratch I had put on it.but replacing the bracelet had to be done as I'm a bit ocd and the engraving even though not visible when wearing bothered me.so I exchanged it and rsc were very kind .I did mention to the guy serving after he installed the bracelet if the different code matters he just said the bracelet is identical. So they obviously dont care about matching the exact date code of the replacement bracelet to the original.so the code dont matter I'm wearing this now .and I dont think I'll find a better example cheers guys

The ETA comes with the bracelet and strap version. It is not unusual for people to sell the strap away, purchase the bracelet and mount it on, vice versa. Which could explain the difference in the swing tag.

From the sound of it, you probably still have everything from the one that got stolen. Just put the hang tag from your previous watch on the new one and problem solved!

The watch came on the bracelet i have the receipt because the warranty card says bracelet along with the case serial and the price tag and the receipt.i dont care about the tag anyway the ad printed it wrong. The bracelet code thing was my main concern. But rolex rsc didnt seem bothered that the replacement bracelet has a different code to the original one |
