Selling a vintage 1969 Meters First Red Submariner is a beautiful example of the Mark II variant and in excellent overall condition - serial number is 2,216,XXX. Here are the details of this one:

Dial - Meters First Red Mark II in excellent condition with no chips, drag or tool marks. Red submariner text is beautifully sharp and consistent.

Bezel insert Correct and very nice fat font with very very light signs of age.
Crystal Correct small bevel edged cyclops top hat.

Excellent condition case with beautiful bevels, thick lugs and crown guards.
Caseback Stamped 1680 and III.69
Bracelet Correct 9315, 12 links, 280 endlinks and clasp code dated 4/70. Bracelet has "Pateted" misspelled divers extension.

I’m very careful with my watches and would recommend avoiding contact with water with these vintage watches. These meters first Red Subs in this condition are hard to find.
