very recently received this handmade watch

Not for those that only buy big brands :-)
But is you admire real craftsmanship you'll probably like it.

Anyway, here are some pictures

polishing only this part, only this 'bridge' ... took him 8 hours to get the beautiful chamfering and sharp angles

10 will be made, the first is mine :-)

the back
for privacy reasons I erased my last name.

Designed, created, made and hand finished by 1 man.
That to me is what's it's all about.

Very well said.... However, might I enquire how much the watch cost?

only via instagram.
Know that he is a professor at a very well known school in France near the Swiss border. As you could guess he teaches watchmaking :-)
Don't know if you know the young watchmakers Theo Auffret and Remy cools ? If you don't it's worth to google them. Auffret by the way was selected in the GPHG 2020 this year. Anyway, these and others graduated from that school.
So as I said his job is teaching and training new young watchmakers. So he makes these watches probably in the evening and weekend ... I guess he has no time left to make a website. Besides his production is VERY small

But you can follow, and contact him via Instagram --> Lecompte_watchmaker
