My vote is for the Hublot. I like both brands, but if you're going to go ceramic/avant garde to me that says Hublot.
Hublot is a brand, quite frankly, I thought very little of until recently. I started doing some research on the Unico specifically...and I'm quite impressed...In house, visible movement, flyback... Combine that with the 42mm size, down from 45 and I'm thinking a Unico will be my next watch. Both have very interchangeable bracelets. Panerai has more of a history. Full disclosure I don't own either, but to my point earlier if I were to go ceramic...Hublot or maybe a DSOTM. I want to own a PAM someday but more like a 510. |

Another vote for the Hublot.
I have the Classic Fusion 45mm blue dial and put it on a black rubber strap. It's really common for people to comment on this watch when I'm wearing it, build quality and finishing is superb. To be honest I never expected myself to buy a Hublot, but when I actually tried one I was sold. |

PAM all day long. I have a 351, but their ceramic-cased watches are no joke. They do it often and they do it well.

Normally I’d go with Hublot but in this case I really like the Panerai you picked.

Any Panerai over any hublot would be my choice. No hesitation

Well, I do like a Panerai - I own a couple - but, not to throw a wrench in your plans, if your requirements are:
-Big -Sporty -Black Ceramic -Available with significant discount on the grey market ...then maybe consider the originators of the ceramic case: |
