Silly question, is this possible?

Is it possible to move the red colored area of the PCL to the Blue colored area on the clasp? Essentially removing the half link? All of the removable links are taken out already. I need about the half links distance on the 6 o’clock side to get the watch to sit right and fit well without any sliding. I believe I will have to have a permanent link removed. If that is the case do I need to send it off to the likes of rolliworks or can it be done by a regular jeweler?

Thanks in advance gentlemen!

Yes, it is.

You need to grind off the rivet head, take the rivet out, then remove the half link from the link you want to use. You also need a sleeve because the rivet is smaller than the screwbar that goes through the center link.

Reassemble with the sleeve in place and the rivet through the "red" area of the center link. Hammer back the head of the rivet and you're good to go.

The only real problem is that to undo this, you need to use another rivet.

That sounds like a lot of work. I suppose you've already tried adjusting with the micros on the clasp though. Good luck.

This is where you come for an answer

Take it to rolliworks or LAWW. Cost me about $100 and its reversible. That's my #1 problem on 5 digit references.

Where would one find these rivets? Thanks for the advice btw!

No micro adjustments on the bracelet for the 6 o’clock side.

The answer is yes but we’ve found a more clever way of doing this. 100% reversible in the future.

It looks like your bracelet need rebuilding more than moving a link.

I would not go through the trouble and expense. I would find a watch that fits and has what I want in it. There is a whole bunch that could work for me.

Rivets are solid ss rod, cut to length then the ends hammered/rounded over. The diameter of the ss rod is available at most hobby shops.
