VC servicing question

Hi everyone,

I recently received my VC 47001 chronograph back from a full service, and it seems that the chronograph indicators were replaced.

The original indicators were bright blue, as on all of the champagne dial 47001s. These indicators are a reflective black or gold, nearing baby blue in very specific sunlight. The 47001 white dial came with black indicators, leading me to wonder whether they simply ended production of the blue version.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it common to have the indicators replaced, or any other part of the aesthetic materially altered, without first hearing from them?

Thanks!
