You CANNOT take off links from the '6' side - only ADD. That side of the bracelet has a link with only ONE screw so it's easy to add on a link (for guys with large wrists).

If you do need to take off 2 links, then do so from the '12' side. Do not touch the first 3 links just after the FLAT "S" link. They are all important, including the one with the NOTCH and the one just after it with the "O" on it.

Take off the next 2 above (if required). As to PERFECT fit, well......that would vary from wrist to wrist. I am lucky in that Rolexes fit me straight out of box, bang on the wrist - no adjustments whatsoever.
