FSOT: 1969 Omega Speedmaster 18kt Gold BA145022-69 aka The Original “Limited Edition”
Offered up for sale is my 1969 BA145022-69 – 18kt Gold Speedmaster.
Limited to 1014 pieces, this is the original “Limited Edition” Speedmaster. I was going to hold onto this, but it is taking up a good chunk of the watch fund and I just don’t wear it enough to justify keeping it. I have owned and enjoyed it for approximately 2 years. The watch comes with a copy of the old style archive papers indicating a production of December 1969 and delivery to Switzerland. The watch features the original gold dial – OM Swiss Made OM - in very good condition with a beautiful and clean service DNN burgundy 18kt gold bezel. The original 18kt case appears strong. Some minor tarnishing in 2 spots which can be cleaned. The original 18kt 1116/575 bracelet is in excellent bracelet with some stretch. The bracelet is just over 5.75 inches long, which means the watch should fit just under a 7.5 inch wrist. I never wore it with the bracelet, personally. Accessories – Archives only + light brown Bulang & Sons JPM strap w Gold colored buckle as pictured. Asking $42,500 shipped via wire. Considering all trade offers, but would primarily be looking to trade this one down. Thanks for looking! |
