Thank you...great question. I have a shortlist of 2 contenders not including potential novelties introduced along the way, will probably workout a way to narrow it to 1 aiming for an April delivery.
The 2 finalists are :
-15202BC
-26317BC (if this 100 pieces LE is still available)
Feeling the RO white gold call!

Again I know that nothing will be according to plan (all 3 pieces I have were totally unexpected) but at least I have a general sense of where I want to go next and I love the way things worked out so far hence I am not to fussed about the entire planification thingy...

That one on the left is in my wishlist for end of 2021.

But when I look on youtube, there's a lot of people complaining about it.

Is it just people loving to complain or is there actually a problem with AP code 11.59?

Firstly, I pray you get allocated both watches. Both are amazing timepieces especially the salmon dial Jumbo. Both will definitely round off your collection. Please keep us updated on your future incomings. All the best bud.

Congratulations on the wishlist, hope for you it materializes with an Incoming...To answer your question I absolutely love my CODE QP great piece, it just works for my lifestyle and fits beautifully in my little collection. To be fair I think people are entitled their own opinions. I tried almost all the variants and all the complications of the CODE some are average some are great some are epic...The QP was the one I fell immediately in love with, the rest is history and I have absolutely no complains, only praises.

I also think it is great to have a diversity of feelings it makes it more interesting, more personal and that is why this passion is so emotional. However people bashing the watches without trying them doesn’t make a lot of sense, my advice : try them on if you have the chance you might like what you see...or not but at least you will get the feeling for yourself, that’s what it’s all about!

I can't say I'd be up for dropping $30k on a time/date code, which is what I believe the new MSRP will be starting next week.

In the end, I took a bit of a gamble and went with the Code. I like the watch for sure and I felt it fit better into my collection, but I won't lie and say it wasn't also a "tactical" decision that I hope will result in a leg up to get other models down the line.
Hey that tactical decision I totally understand. I recently purchased a 26315 and a 26480 from the Boutique. I am sure another well timed CODE purchase in the next few months would likely result in a 202 on the horizon, but I'm not made of money, so every watch decision I make I try to make carefully. I have a bunch of money allocated for a couple of FPJs (one coming next week after waiting almost a year!) next year so I figured I just need to stick to buying my absolute favorite watches. If I did not have such an FPJ addiction I'd grab a CODE for sure. AP is without doubt my favorite sport watch maker. FPJ for leather. I wish I was one of the "lucky" people who honestly preferred Patek for leather and sport. Those people have it made from a "money concentration at the AD" perspective. Split brands does make for much tougher sledding in this new allocation watch model of the last few years, but meh. If I get a 202 great, if not, life goes on.

Bet you enjoy that CODE! I have really been warming up to them lately. The PC in particular is to die for.

Are these actually readily available? Problem also is that there's no AP AD in my area. Closest one is 2000 miles away.

Thanks for summing it up. You're right... most people bash everything to anything without much of an experience with the items.

That blue one you have is what caught my eye browsing through AP's website and it just looks stunning on paper. If anything it makes me more interested in the Royal Oak with Blue dial as 2nd choice which honestly at first I thought it's old looking.

Availability varies between couple of weeks (immediate) to various months (anywhere from 2 to 8 months) depending on the models. The CODE QP is one of the least produced models of the range with 100 per year so if it is the one you really want push for it at an AD, also note that the grey market pricing has a small premium so this could be a worst case scenario (I never buy grey as I am more of a direct relationship developing kind of guy).

And yes you are right the CODE has a very modern feel to it which is another achievement from AP to have a strap round watch look modern!

Good luck...
