My NEW Rolex!!!! PICS!!!!
Guys, I just got a FANTASTIC Deal on a vintage Rolex off of E-Bay!!!! I must admit, the price was so good, I was concerned it was a fake, but since I recieved it in the mail today, and inspected it closely, there is NO DOUBT as to its authenticity! I am so excited!!!
I could use a little help in identifying the exact model, so have included some pictures here and welcome your input. The Rolex logo is very clear on the dial, proving its genuine, and the back of the case has some engraving of a boy in a sailors suit, there is a puppy at his feet and he's holding some kind of box that says... cracker... something or other... I am thinking this is some RARE-ULTRA Valuable model, made for a special occasion! Like the French Navy's COMEX watch or something... since there is a sailor on the back... Anyway, I just wanted to share my FANTASTIC find with all of you, please let me know what you think!!!! |

Nice!!! Make sure when you put it in the safe you surround it with Caramel coated peanuts and popcorn.
You could put it on ebay. It looks a lot better than some of the stuff you find there.

Hate to break it to you, but the dial, hands, crystal, strap, and case are a bit suspect...

The etchings on the caseback seem a bit off? They don't seem to look properly aligned... Otherwise, great find!
