Rolex GMT buckle clasp clicking noise question.

Guys,

This is my first Rolex watch and my first topic here. Please don`t be cruel

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfXdsM78R7w

When I wear it more snug the noise is still there however not as loud ( in real life it is not as loud as on a vide to be honest ). Now it is very hot so decided to use extension and wear it slightly lose. Deep inside I understand that it actually should make this sound when you tap on steal clasp that will touch steal links especially when you wear it lose.

I just decided to get your opinion as I still have warranty.

Thank you in advance and have a great evening.

Welcome to the forum.

I have recently purchased Rolex GMT BLNR on oyster. My clasp makes similar clicking thing when i poke it.

I think camera microphone exaggerating the noise slightly however mine is very similar. I have tried to tighten the bracelet and yes the noise is more silent when you poke the clasp.

I don`t think you need to worry about it however me being OCD about my watches I will gladly listen to other members here.

Yes this is a normal click. My GMT and OP39 both do the same.

It's a pity that, having bought a watch like Rolex, you still have to do tuning, but this clicking sound is annoying for sure.
Here's a simple solution - a few pieces of duct tape close to the hook. The clicking will be significantly reduced.

Thank you for posting (I’ve been searching for ages).

I have the BLNR and BLRO on jubilee and thought I was going nuts. I don’t have the clicking noise on the BLNR but on the BLRO it just feels incredibly loose.

Sadly we are in lockdown here but I’ll go back to the AD when possible as my OCD is all over the place

Hopefully it’s a simple fix
