What about mechanically?
1. Was it Chromalight since 2010?
2. When did it meet the redefined Superlative Chronometer standards?
3. Did it Paraflex replace the KIF system?
4. Was its clasp Glidelock since 2010?
Thanks.
Mainly purely cosmetic fonts on dials and seeing dials are made in 3 different factories now all owned by Rolex. So there has always have been, and always will be tiny variations on most all Rolex dials. Whether KIF or paraflex shock systems nothing to choose between them, as for Chromalight well thats just a colour variation of super-luminover made by RC-Tritec AG. As for Superlative Chronometer that been on Rolex dials for 40 plus years, they have not put some magic fairy dust in case to make them better. The bare uncased movements are still tested at the Swiss COSC TO AVERAGE -4+6 seconds to get the Swiss Chronometer certification. Rolex then tests in a controlled environment movement in its case to a precision of -2+2 SPD at time of testing which is more marketing than anything.
