Dial Question

Will Rolex allow you to switch out your dial
for a different one?
Is it expensive?

I called Rolex New York recently to ask if I could swap out a Daytona dial. The answer was yes. It has to be a dial that was available for that model. The cost is $600 for the dial and they keep your old dial. It should be a trade for dials of equal value.

Labor is extra. If you're having a service done. I would imagine the service would cover the labor to add the dial since they have to completely disassemble the watch for service anyway.

You can change the dial with an independent watchmaker.
That’s what I recently did, bought an Azzurro blue dial for my DJ41 from a trusted seller on chrono 24, quick trip to a local watchmaker, they changed it an hour while I waited and charged £100, this way you also get to keep the original dial!

I've bought a bunch of different dials over the years, mostly for my Daytona. I take them to a local watch guy and he swaps them for me for like $75 all the time.

I must get bored easy.
lol

I didn't ask specifically which models. I would imagine for the SS Ceramic models the same policy applies. So, if you have black you can change to white and vice versa. It has to be a change that's available within the model series.

I would recommend calling the Service Center that you want to use and ask them.
