FS: 1966 Rolex "Little Daytona" 6239 Silver Dial
Hi All,
I’m selling a 1966 Rolex “Little Daytona” 6239, here are the details: Dial: Excellent condition silver dial with black sub dials that shows only very light signs of age. The silver portion of the dial is very vibrant and the black sub dials are clean. The tritium hour plots and hands have aged to a creamy hue. All of the hour plots are in place and the one at 3:00 is slightly chipped. They glow brightly when exposed to UV light then drop off quickly as they should. Case: The 36mm stainless case with serial 1,475,xxx is in excellent condition with very light wear. The bezel is in excellent condition showing little wear with the exception of a small ding on the outside edge at the 250 mark. All of the black enamel is in place. The USA made C&I rivet oyster bracelet is in excellent condition showing light wear and stretch. It has a date code of 75. Movement: The Rolex manual winding calibre 722 movement is in good operating condition, service history is unknown. The export stamp “ROW” denotes that this was a watch for the US market. Other: The is a very special 6239 that has amazing wrist presence due to the vibrancy of the silver dial. Ones in this condition aren't available very often. The Deal: My price is $54,950 with overnight shipping from Fedex and third-party insurance from IFS Inforsure. Reasonable offers and trades are always welcome. I will accept payment via wire transfer or PayPal +3% with buyer references. You get a 3 day inspection period and may return the watch for any reason. You'll receive a full refund minus all shipping, insurance, packaging and other costs associated with the purchase and return of the watch. My name is Michael and I can be reached at 415.323.3938, via email at [email protected] or on Instagram @sectordial. Face to face transactions may be possible in Los Angeles by appointment. I am an IWJG member in good standing. Happy to provide references as needed. |
