Two very different watches - I'd take the Explorer, but mainly because I despise Omega bracelets.

I think omega ruined it by putting the olympic symbol as the counter weight on the second hand. If it didnt have that it would be great. I feel the same about the 007 models too.

It might be my untrained eye, but both look like they have some issues. Is that gap on the bottom right between the lug and bracelet link normal? And on the Omega, does it seem like someone over-polished the bezel?

I’m a huge fan of Speedmasters, but just don’t like the style of that one. Don’t like the font of the numerals, the second hand, or the colors. So, Explorer in this case.

Explorer. It's a lot cleaner to me. Simple and elegant.

Like others have said, if the Omega was a Speedmaster it would be my choice, that chrono is way too busy. The Explorer isn’t on my wishlist but from this pair I would choose it.

The Explorer. That Olympics branding kills it for me.

I would pick neither
if I had to pick one it would be the explorer - and by the way I hate the explorer and would never buy one

Please take into account your on the ROLEX forum lol. That being said I’d still take the Rolex, and I love Omegas.

In this case there is no contest.

I have a few Omegas that I really like but the the dial on that model is a disaster from the holesaw sub dials, the rings, the numbers style and the date window placement.

This Explorer’s numbers has always been an issue but in this comparison it wins.

That omega is a mess. A real dog’s dinner of a dial.

That's easy. The Explorer, of course.

The Omega looks pretty weird with its much too large logo, the three different fonts on dial, date ring and tachymeter, and the strange olympic rings on the seconds hand.

For this comparison the explorer. I just like the clean look of the explorer and I am not partial to the red color on watches so there is a little bit of personal taste coming into play. But in this case even given that the color on the omega was any color of my choosing I will still choose the explorer in this particular comparison as I am just don't really like the look of that particular omega.
