The bracelet is essentially a thicker, wider version of the existing GS steel bracelet which measures 22mm at lugs and 20mm at clasp, the taper can be hard to notice but it is there, with 2 '2/3' links, getting the right fit shouldnt be a problem. The fit and finish is what you'd expect from GS, it is IMO 'rolex level'. It is now fully satin finished, except the sides, and there is a hairline polished bevel down the shoulders of each link similar to the nautilus bracelet. The only disappointment is the clasp, it is the same as their older watches, while comfortable, it does not have micro-adjustment mechanism.

Thank you
The first thing i noticed when i picked it up was the weight. It is noticeably heavier than my sbgh267 and other 40mm steel GS ive handled. I believe it is due to the thicker and wider bracelet. The watch now does feel flat and very balanced on the wrist.

It is very nice looking.

I might be in the minority but I was really hoping that the watch was more white than silver. I absolutely adore white dials. For me the silver on silver thing just washes a watch up. Maybe on a strap I would enjoy this more.

At least it deals the deal for my next GS being a snowflake.

Great dial photo! It's often so hard to appreciate the Grand Seikos unless you hold one in person. You did a great job capturing that white birch bark dial. Enjoy!!

I imagined it more white as well. Like the tree.

Congrats! Such a beautiful watch.

When you get a chance can you please post some movement pics? That’s the best part of that watch!

Now that is one good looking watch!

Does anyone know if the pattern on the dial is unique, or are they all the same?

Man this one is awesome. Thinking of moving my Datejust to get one..

I have the sbga413 currently and it pretty much has ruined Rolex for me. Just has so much character

Congratulations and keep it in good health!

The White Birch is growing and growing on me. With a 44GS case I would order it immediately.

The GS Boutique in Soho NYC tells me this is not necessarily the case. Yes, the dials will all be the same in batches. But there will be variations from batch to batch. Not sure how many they make in one batch.

Either way, any dial variations will be subtle.

It’s from the same stamping die, so it’s basically all the same. Any variances will be minute.
