Did you use the spring bars from the 116710 or from the 126710?

Both work but the thicker spring bars that are original to the oyster bracelet seem to seat better with zero play between the endlinks and watch head.

Best part — starting today this is no longer a frankenwatch!!!!

Same model number and same bracelet number as what was released today = Not a Frankenwatch!!! Enjoy!

Exact same: 1) reference number; and 2) bracelet number. So no, I would not consider this a Franken but rather a jump start on whatever the heck Rolex is doing with rolling out oyster bracelets to those who want them. How am I wrong?

Nicely done! I just did the same to my BLRO last week.

I used the spring bars from BLRO and noticed there is a little play between the endlinks and watch case.

May I ask if you happened to have the Reference No of the Spring Bars from the Oyster 78200 ?

I’d like to purchase a pair for myself.
Thank you

Here is mine: cheers

Sorry I don’t know off hand the spring bars that come with the 116710.

I also tried spring bars from 93250 submariner bracket and they work great too.

Reference # for the 116710 spring bars (bracelet 78200) is 23-44200

Bracelet that was released today is the 79200 (older reference was 78200) but I do not know what the difference might be

Didn't mean too

But hey, if the older bracelet 78200 works just as good as the new one - who cares

All good!! I am somewhat unconventional in my views of what makes me happy with my watches. I am less “concours correct” and more gestalt and what looks and feels good TO ME from a big picture standpoint — which is what matters!!
