Summertime Rubbertime

Shockingly, it reached high 70 degree weather this week in Chicago and the wrists are starting to expand being outside in that humidity. I guess that means it's time to start prepping he watches with Summer Rubber.

In this roster:

1. Yellow Gold Paul Newman: Stock Oysterflex

2. Speedmaster 3861 Hesalite: Barton Rubber

3. White Dial Ceramic Daytona: Rubber B

4. Blue Seamaster 300M: Stock Rubber

The Barton is the cheapest strap and arguably the most comfortable. For $20 you get the band which comes with a short and long 12:00 end to get the perfect sizing. Next comfortable is probably the Rolex Oysterflex. It's definitely way softer than the Rubber B. Third most comfortable is the Seamaster. I just wish it came with a shorter strap; but it can be ordered from any boutique if you want. And last is the Rubber B. It's not bad, but I wouldn't mind if it was a bit softer and have metal end links to allow for better articulation and wrapping around your wrist.

Second recommendation for Barton Bands. Cheap, high quality, and come in a bunch of fun colors. I have one on my Brian May Seiko 5.

Not usually a fan of changing out the OG straps but dam that white rubber on the Panda makes me want to do the same! Looks awesome.

Does the Barton on the Speedy have the black PVD buckle or silver? Would like to see the comparison against the watch please?
