Bought a Tudor Panda Chronograph

Got the call from my local AD that he had a few of the new Tudor Chronographs available. I was able to try on the black dial (on bracelet) and white dial (on strap). Both were stunning in person. Based on what I have in my collection, I ended up going with the white dial.

I already have a 41mm Black Bay with a black bezel. Compared to the regular Black Bay, the Chronograph is slimmer - the case itself is slimmer and the caseback protrudes much less. This is somewhat offset by the higher domed crystal, which produces some pretty cool edge distortion.

I liked the look of the panda on the black strap, but I have to admit that I'm finding the strap near the clasp to be a little bit scratchy on my wrist. I'll be switching it our for a black Rubber B strap as soon as it arrives.

After 2 days of wear, it's running +1 second.

So good! Still torn on the white vs. black but it looks amazing! Any chance we can get a tilted shot so we can see how the slab case looks with the fabric strap?

Enjoy and congrats! I tried one on (black dial); looked awesome. On my 6.5” wrist, it just felt too tall and unwieldy. I have other watches that measure larger and heavier on paper but for whatever reason fit me better. Enjoy yours -- she's a beaut!

Congratulations. I got mine at release day as well and what a brilliant piece. I have a 7.25 inch writs and it wears incredibly well. The thickness to diameter ratio is perfect so it does NOT feel at all like a hockey puck. Legibility is incredible, even though so many, too many actually, that don't have the watch, complain that is is tough to read. NOT at all. Have it on the wrist for 5 days and you will see what I mean.
The black is equally stunning, but or me I was particularly looking for a white dial watch and this one has done it for me.

I never realized how hard it is to get an in-focus shot of the side of your watch! Here you go. Tonight, I'll try to take a side-by-side pic with my 41mm BB Heritage so it's easier to compare.

Here's a shot of the clasp. Case thickness and caseback protrusion are slimmer than the 41mm BB Heritage. Some of that is negated by the higher domed crystal on the chrono. I think it wears a bit smaller than the 41mm BB Heritage.
