Braclet Stress....

I see that you can tell alot from the braclet, The lower it droops the older or more worn the watch is. Is there a way to prevent this besides not wearing it lol? Also Does it get stressed if you have it in its Rolex pillow (or watch winder cushion).
I know guys I have the most stuipd/weird threads but these are the questions that bugg my head lol. I sometimes wrap my Rolex in a soft towel and leave it in my drawer.

Contrary to what I see on a lot of boards, I don't personally believe that bracelets "stretch" under normal use, but they do wear. So in my view storing a watch on it's pillow is not an issue. To prevent "stretch" it is a good idea to keep the bracelet clean as dirt in the links will act as an abrasive and wear out the links faster.

I believe that softer metals such as gold and platinum do stretch, but stainless steel should keep it's shape.

It does yes... but the SS pins on a jubilee bracelet WILL stretch and make the bracelet longer and it can/will eventually 'pretzel'.

I've seen some wicked pretzelling on some old Rollies.

Yes 100% agree guys the old folded link oyster use to wear like the jubilee, but the heavy oyster if kept clean will last a life time.

I wouldn't bet on JJ's fake Oyster bracelet holding like the real ones can.. That base metal sure does bend..
