Cartier Santos ADLC
Hi All,
Can I please ask any owners of their experience with the ADLC Cartier Santos, and specifically as to how it holds up in terms of scratches, dings, dints, etc? Does it scuff and mark easily? Is it as carefree as ceramic? After much too and fro seeking a non Rolex watch in the £5k - £6k category I seem to be spending more time looking at the Breitling Chronomat and Grey Dial Santos ADLC (steel bracelet) than any other options but would like to learn more about the material used in the Cartier first hand from owners. Many thanks |

ADLC is very durable. Haven't had any issues with the finish on my WSSA0039. It is one of my most comfortable watches and looks great dressed up or down.

I got the watch last year and it’s definitely a constant piece on my rotation.
The watch is light , fun and not very noticeable for the untrained eye. I switch between straps and I’m very happy with it , had no issues so far with scratches and I’m definitely not one to take extreme care of the watches as I believe they are meant to be worn, hopefully this helps plus I’m attaching some pics :)

I have the Santos 100 ADLC and have had it for upwards of 10 years, and not a mark to be seen on it (though somewhat sparingly used)

No issues on my WSSA0037. Had it for about 6 months now.

I should add, the non ADLC treated parts, bracelet etc will scratch just as easily as any other steel watch.
