I'm okay with black but if there's a chance to get the white service dial then I'm fine with it too. Regarding Tritium vs luminova argument, personally I prefer luminova though the value will tank but I am unlikely to sell the watch anyway. Also the tritium has slight radioactivity if Im not mistaken so would prefer something safer.
Ultimately if I do go ahead with the deal, it will go back to RSC anyway. A 1995 watch needs some TLC. The value may decrease but the feeling of wearing a "brand new" watch is priceless. I'm more hesitant because I can't overcome my own reasoning to buy a pre-owned watch and secondly, if it goes back to service, I’m afraid it will come back a Frankenstein watch, new bracelet, new dial which does not match the serial number. But I’m definitely not going to buying then not servicing it. That’s out of the question.

The tritium is probably dead, so I wouldn't worry about that. Also, it wouldn't come back a frankenwatch unless you approve of it. You tell them what to do or what not to do.
