Fluted Bezels Easily Damaged?
Is it just me or are the gold fluted bezels mated to DJs and DDs just magnets for damage? Even light taps against anything solid produces scratches and/or blemishes. The white gold bezel on my 2006 DJ is the only aspect of my watch that shows any wear. I hate it, every little nick and scratch is sorely visible when light shimmers off of it. I've noticed that others who have posted pics of their DJs and DDs also have worn down looking bezels.
Can these bezels be fixed or replaced, and at what cost? I'm positive that my poor DJ will be in need of a replacement if this keeps up. |

Yes bezels can be replaced but quite expencive for what they are.Gold is a much softer metal than SS,but on service quite easy to restore as long as damage is not to bad.
