Ok, I'm a bit biased but the dial has a real nice base color and in direct sunlight the green pops.
I always liked the Wimbledon dials, but I don't really like the Datejust 41.

It's just a bit weird that it's somewhat hidden on the Rolex site and it wasn't mentioned at all in the Watches and Watches news?

Interesting- I always thought the Wimbledon dial was DJ41 only.

It's a beauty. I own the exact same config in 41mm and it's such a wonderful and versatile watch. Feels very sporty on oyster with smooth.

I always said ''if this ever goes into a 36mm watch then I have to get it''. It's so good looking.

In the last year I have visited several AD's and not every experience was like I expected.
But I found an AD that just felt right and right after "Watches and Wonders" I called them and asked if they could get me the "36 Wimbledon" and to my surpise they said "no problem, we're going to get you one" and a few weeks later I got "the call";-)

To make the story complete: I'm 51 years old and I sold my Datejust 20 years ago, when we needed a bigger house and money was tight.
And now after saving money for 2 years, I was finally able to drop the money for my "36 Wimbledon" and it makes me smile, every day.

That really is classic and striking. Perfect fit.

I think this combo will stand the test of time. I’m strongly considering the same one just with jubilee for a touch of flair.

Wow, this did nothing for me in 41mm, but damn, the 36mm looks great. Congrats.

Same here. For some reason the Roman numerals suit my eye better on the 36.

Sporty yet classy! Looks great, enjoy it in good health.

I have the sunburst silver champagne dial with fluted bezel in 36 and love it! So comfortable and love how it shines.

Agreed.

I think it looks even better in the TT version! (One of the rare TT watches I'd consider owning.)

Congrats on a beautiful watch. I just bought that same watch for my wife's birthday two days ago and she loved it. It looks really nice.
