Still love the YG after close to 4 years ownership. The OG is still the best version of the DD

I may be off regarding my references, here- but I thought the 3055/Single Quickset Tridors were 18039s, as opposed to the all YG 18038s. When they went Double Quick with the introduction of the 3155, they became the 18239. Am I wrong? Looks to be in great condition, regardless.

Wow that’s embarrassing. Your absolutely correct the lug is marked 18039B. Thank you for catching that.

Clean 1803, and great shape for being over 40 years old. One can see how they can become heirlooms. And that pie-pan dial looks great! Wear in good health.

How did you manage to get the ice blue dial of the platinum DD 118206 on a white gold 118239?

The watch is stunning and I wasn't aware you could swap WG and platinum dials... At least, I am not aware of any platinum DD with a flutted bezel.

I sourced the dial used on the web and had a private watchmen to install it on my 18239. No longer own the dial as the diamonds made it too blingy for my taste.
