WOW! So lucky my wife called ahead before our last trip to Maui in Feb 2020, just before the lockdown. We were able to enjoy Momma's twice that visit, and as usual, it was glorious.

There are "MaTais" and then there are Mai Tais. If you want an authentic Mai Tai you need to choose carefully. Look at the menu: Quite often there will be "Mai Tai" which is a house drink and "Original Trader Vic Mai Tai" which may or may not be the real deal (Hint: There is no pineapple juice in a Mai Tai). If you want sicky sweet with a run float go to Kimo's. Want a real one go to Japengo.
