i was under the impression that the datejusts with white gold are a combo of oyster steel and white gold for the case, but that the bracelet is oystersteel. perhaps that caused some confusion? or maybe i'm wrong. Sure someone knows for sure.

Are you looking for a DJ in solid white gold or the SS DJ with the white gold fluted bezel?

OP, Date Justs are all Rolesor if the have a fluted bezel. There is no such thing as a current white gold Date Just!!! Rolesor is a combination of gold and steel in Rolex lingo!!

It’s only the bezel that’s rolesor (18k white gold) everything else is steel

I wonder if all the store has in stock is the TT DJ’s and they are trying to push these on to you.

Anything from Rolex in SS is hard to get, the DJ in SS with the white gold fluted bezel is a classic and loved by many so the store may have a long list of people trying to get one.

Try another AD and see if you get the same response, people are turning to the SS DJ as an alternative to Rolex’s highly sought after sport watches, so demand on these watches is higher than it used to be.

Theyve offered solid gold datejusts in the past, but the current lineup does not. You can search chrono24 with a filter “case material : white gold” to see some of the previous models.

Current DJ with a white gold fluted bezel, stainless case and bracelet is reference 126234

I just purchased a TT DJ41 a few weeks ago and was told that, at my AD anyway, the SS are now allocated models and cannot be ordered. Only the TT YG or TT RG can be ordered.

It depends on the AD. One AD told me they can’t even order that anymore. Another told me they can. They were part of the same chain of stores lol. I am looking for the same model. It’s not hard to get if you’re looking for white Roman, but blue dial or black dial can take a few months on order.
