GMT IIc back from Dallas
A few weeks ago, I took my GMT2c into the Dallas RSC for warranty service.
The hour hand was lagging and not keeping time and it would not "jump" when you wanted to change the hour hand. The service girl took it back for the techs to look at it and came out about 10 minutes later and said that they needed to service the watch......duh! Anyway..I picked it up Wed. morning and it was running like a champ. The service girl said they were not told what was wrong with the watch, but that they did do a complete service, minus the refinishing part. The invoice didn't shed a clue either. Bad part is that it broke in the first place. Good part is that I get an extra years warranty!!

You must have been gutted when it went faulty, but I'm glad you got it sorted.

Didn't bother me that much.
I have parked the GMT2c and am now wearing one of my new cokes because of the bezel click issue on the "c". I really wished that they would have refinished it. If I had known they were not going to, I would have paid for them to do it. This is the first time that I have had any major problems with a Rolex.
