It’s the hardest “gold” daydate to acquire

Next to impossible unless you go grey market. Also depends on how established you are with you AD. If you are a first time buyer....I am going to say your chances are very very very low. I talked to 4 AD's and neither would take orders, and I was told that people that ordered last year might get them by 2023!

Liked most all hyped Rolex watches today they will be hard to get, mainly because of the hype, because many today want to wear the hype, and not the watch.

Not necessarily hard, just a long wait time. I waited around 8 months.

The hard part is that AD's no longer take orders for them. The ones that are on order will take a while to come in, like a year or so, so the chances of them to get a random RG DD40 Olive that actually hits the case and is available for sale is slim to none.

These were in AD's, in the window 18 months ago.
The WG olive was in my local AD for about 6 months before it sold. I suspect the WG could probably arrive within 6 months. The RG maybe within 12-15 months. It really would be surprising if it was longer. |

Per my SA at the boutique, WG olive dial is popular too but not as much as RG, so it would be a bit easier.

Yea you’re much better off getting a wg olive dial instead. Most likely a lot easier to purchase but you’ll still have to wait
