Icon7 Tudor's New Chronos - Comfortable for Smaller Wrists?

Hi All,

I am really into Tudor's new chronos, both the Panda and Reverse Panda. However, I am afraid they will be too big and heavy for my 6.5" wrist. Can anyone with smaller wrists chime in regarding comfort and sizing? Pics will be awesome as well. Thanks!

They are both awesome.
I have a 7" wrist, and looks great (I'll try to post a pic tomorrow).

I would describe it as the "larger" side of the 41mm spectrum but by no means big.

I'd recommend going to an AD and trying one on if you can find one actually in stock since they are new to market and seemingly quite popular.

I was at a mall 2 weeks ago in southern California and there were 3 reverse panda and the gold one to try, but no panda. I think for sizing you should have no issue.

Depends, what size is your explorer? If its a 36mm then the Tudor will seem huge compared to the watches mentioned in your profile.

My 41mm sub seems huge compared to my BLNR, and the Tudor is much bigger than the sub despite the paper dimensions.

I love mine, although my wrist is more around the 7"+

My wife who has tiny wrists, sometimes wear a BlackBay 41mm on a nato and I know its a silly size on paper for a woman, I think it looks really good and doesn't look too big.

I think it will work for you! Get one on order and try it. Its incredible for me price and actually wears smaller than the specs suggest.

Never seen one in person yet but I know they shaved a little bit off the thickness. I think it would work fine for a smaller wrist. 41mm is a great size for just about everyone.

Have you considered the Zenith Chronomaster Sport by any chance? Beautiful watch and slightly smaller. No screw down pushers either which helps it to wear a little smaller as well.

I had a chance to try on the black dial chrono a few weeks back. I would say it was pushing the limits of my flat 6.5" wrist but I wouldn't say it was too big. While it was on the thicker side, it sat flush on my wrist which made for a more comfortable and secure fit. I think it would fit even better on a strap vs. the bracelet but they only had the bracelet version to try. I considered purchasing it but I haven't had a chance to try the new 3861 Speedmaster which I find a little more compelling.

I tried on a reverse panda and won’t lie, it’s pretty thick on my 7” wrist. Diameter isn’t bad.

But I’m still on the list for a panda and hoping I get one before too long!

Hey, I had the same thoughts but after seeing them in person they were fine. Not thick imo, or heavy. Keep in mind the setup currently on the one below isn’t my cup of tea with bracelet it will fit much better and comfy on the wrist. I have 6.5 *. (Was out of town and stopped by a local AD and they had one out). Ill pick one up from my AD for sure. Videos are better photos are eh sorry in advance.

I like them, but they are pretty thick. I would like them a lot more if they reduced the thickness some. Otherwise, the size is good IMO.

It fits very nicely. Quite big reminded me of the sd43 somewhat in terms of size - which is why I liked it.

If they made it around 13-13.5 mm, it may be the perfect watch. I don’t know if the movement is short enough for that case thickness, however.

I have a 6.5 inch wrist and it wears quite well on my wrist. Regarding its thickness you won't really feel it when you are wearing it, but when you compare it to other watches side by side then it does appear thicker.

Pic as promised. My wrist is just a touch over 7".

Keep in mind too that these "wrist shots" seem to always make the watch look bigger than it actually wears/is, and this is on the strap (my Tudor preference), which may have it sit a tad higher on the wrist than a bracket.
Hope this helps. Sláinte!

It looks fine to me. I wouldn’t even think about it.

Thanks Everyone!

Wow thanks for all of the responses! Pics are very helpful! Feels like I should have no issues with it. I was okay with a 42mm Submersible before, but that was on rubber, and was worried this will be somewhat bulkier/heavier.

Look forward to seeing this in person soon and hopefully pull the trigger. Cheers, guys!

My Explorer is the 39mm variant.

I haven't thought about the Chronomaster since it looks too much like a Daytona to me. Beautiful watch, though. I dig the style of the Tudors more.

I had a Speedy before, and you should definitely consider that iconic piece!

Thanks for the pics! Yea, I am not into that Tudor bund strap look, but I know the nato will help with better fit as well.

Here's a few shots on my 6.75" wrist. Recently traded it but it wore great and is such a cool watch. Like others have said the photos make it look like it wears bigger than it is. It's not small by any means but it's not that big. A little tall if anything but the 22mm width bracelet helps balance it out.

Looks killer! Thanks for the pics. If you don't mind me asking, why did you trade it?

I traded it and my BB58 blue in combo for another watch I'd been after.
