I got both and wear Daytona more. It is more comfortable and I can wear longer. Sky is hard to see the time and date for me.

Daytona is a ton more comfortable as a daily wearer.
SkyD is huge and clunky on your wrist all day. |

Both are the hardest to acquire at AD/Boutique, so which one comes first for you, take it.
I have SS white dial Daytona and would love to have Sky D. blue dial, I got offered black dial two months ago but passed.

Daytona 116500 is nice but doesn't have a date
Blue Skydweller edges out the Daytona by a date & dual time zone.

Have the white dial SS Daytona and just tried the Sky Dweller today at the Rolex boutique in the Bal Harbor Mall on my way to lunch. The only reason was as I was passing by is that I caught a glimpse of watches in the display cases. Normally I just walk right past knowing there’s nothing inside. It was sort of a mirage since all watches were for exhibition only.
So I tried on a black dial SD. It felt awesome on the wrist. Not crazy about the black dial but a blue dial which I’m hoping for will be incredible. Would be a tough choice if I had to choose between the two. By the way no Daytona or BlRO for trying on. Did have three OPs for exhibition Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

looks great with jeans, short and t-shirt. I think it's a great all-around watch.
