Rolex Crowns

I had my 16013 serviced. I can't say for 100% certain that the crown was a solid line. I remember it being that.
When it returned from service it has 2 dots and it feels a little larger than I previously remembered. Granted the size could have been from 40years rubbing on a shirt sleeve. However the 2 dots perplex me.

Did they throw in whatever crown was around? Does that effect value in anyway? Just wondering.

Both the straight-line and two dots indicate a twin lock crown - Hence technically its likely right, however whether its correct to your 16013, is for someone smarter than me to comment on

My 1985 16013 has the straight line. If the bracelet feels larger, they may have resized the bracelet when they took the bracelet off for servicing.

Crown size feels larger. After wearing something on your wrist for decades, you just can feel a difference. That said it would have been worn down.

Just says crown replacement required (18YG)

I think the previous crown was just rubbed down from decades of wear. I took a caliper to each of my crowns and they all measured 5.97mm on the dot

Rolex Crowns

Can’t tell you more than that - but the nominal mike you measured doesn’t match any crown Rolex makes. I’m guessing your calipers aren’t accurate?

No things like crowns and crown tubes are just normal serviceable items.
