Tried on a couple Rolex - energized my appreciation

I recently tried on a few pre-owned Rolex and it energized my appreciation for the brand.

Explorer 2 - way more comfortable that I ever would have thought coupled with a size that just fits my wrist, made me forget about the 216570 and 226570, at least temporarily. I had never tried on a Rolex with the previous gen oyster bracelet and clasp and found it to be extremely comfortable.

DJ36 Wimbledon - until I put it on the wrist I had written off the smooth/oyster combo, now I think its the more complimentary to the dial than the fluted/jubilee combo.

VC Historiques Triple Calendrier 1942 - love. Nothing else I can write.

Didn’t buy anything in the end. Always good to just walk away sometimes and fall back in love with the watches I currently have.

Nice. I used to have a 16570, and I found it much more comfortable than my 16610 Sub. Lighter weight and slimmer caseback.

Yeah I love the EXP2. Just felt right in all ways.

A DJ or OP is on the short list. I liked the 36 on the wrist and that’s probably the size I’ll get but boy it looks small compared to my SMP and my VCO.

I like them all and the VC for me would be the one. I have looked at the VC several times before but have not stepped up yet.
