Glad you got your money back. Need to be more careful. The dial is a dead give away fake

The seller should be banned from e-bay for selling something like this.

Hi janusinvestment,

Welcome to TRF, Glad your not out of pocket and a big thanks for the heads up on this one!

Seller: carstereoebuyer (59)

This is my Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust watch that I am selling. I had recieved it from my father as a gift about a year ago. I had only worn it on special occasions and it had very very minor wear. It is like new. It is authentic and I also have up for sale a gold rolex link that I am selling for my dad. If you have any questions or would like more / different pictures please feel free to email me. Thank you for visiting my listing and I wish you luck on eBay.

To Da Can!

thanks for posting it. I wrote the guy an email to remove it from ebay and he got snippy with me to mind my own business, I thought there should be a way to really go after those people and yes after I got it in my hands I knew right away it was fake but from the pictures I could not tell.

Anybody can help why the dial is a dead give away??? Oliver

compared to my datejust the lettering on the dial is way too big. With originals you almost need to magnify it as its so fine.Glad this worked out ok for you .

let me tell you the rest of the story,

now the paypal refund was delayed because of isf funds in his bank account, I think I have to open the case with paypal again and see what they can do, because they have already closed the case after the seller admitted that he did not know it was fake and paid me back, not really.

Any input what I could or should do, let alone the nasty emails that he sent me after his item was removed from ebay, discusting, that little punk.... Olvier

The Paypal case should not have been closed until the Paypal refund had cleared your account so it is puzzling as to how this could have happened.

Keep us informed as it will be interesting to see if Paypal's total customer protection is as solid as they constantly tell us it is.
