Remove links from vintage jubilee bracelet with no screws
Hey guys,
I bought this vintage datejust and I want to remove some links but there is no screws, no holes etc... so I don't know how to do. I've been to 3 repair shops and even to a rolex repairer but they can't do it. The model of the bracelet is 6252 H 14 Any help guys ? Thanks, |

If I am not mistaken, the links "plug" together?
Think of an AC appliance plug going into a wall socket. One link side is the male, and the other link side is the female. There is a special vice for pulling them apart and pressing together again. They do not look to me as if the pins would "drive out" with a pin punch. At least - I think that's the way it is. Saw something some years back on this. Don't know if it was Rolex or someone else. You might ask a French Rolex Service Center near you? That would be your best bet. Hope I passed along accurate information. If not, I apologize.

Old school Jubilee. No easily removeable links. I would suggest sending it off.
I do believe the sell a tool for this online is you fell like attempting this yourself |

There is indeed a vise for this - cost is about $300-600. Likely not a good home project idea. I imagine some watchmakers have one - suggest calling around.
