Collection Ideas Please

Posting for a friend:

A colleague and I chat watches on a regular basis. Below is a swatch of his current collection.

I know he would like to add a Submariner and replace the Submariner date with either a Kermit or SS GMT.

However, I feel he is in a great spot. I am not sure how I feel about having 2 subs or gmts. My advice for him is a white dial or a chrono.

Any ideas / suggestions from the forums that I can take back to him?

Cheers

White dial chrono seems like a good suggestion, haha.

Funny enough you say that. I almost said the same but figured why suggest another blue dial ?

I think he already has a wonderful collection. I won't change anything if I were him.

Four great watches, time to branch out of Rolex…

Or, do what you like.

A Speedmaster Pro or a Daytona would be a good addition.

IF wanting to stick with Rolex, let's really mix it up: a PM Daytona on OF

My advice would be that unless any Rolex reference jumps out at him to catch his attention, to either take a break or look into another brand. Chasing a Rolex, that you don’t really have your heart set on, in today’s market may lead to frustration or boredom. YMMV.
